Wie kommt Gas zu den Abnehmern
Für die Lieferung von Gas an Endabnehmer sind die Fernpipelines allein nicht ausreichend. Damit das Gas auf Gasherd mit blauer Flamme zu brennen beginnt, muss es aus der Fernpipeline in die Verteilungsleitung gelangen und dann durch die Hausgasleitungen weitergeleitet werden.
Wie werden die Erdgaslager eingestuft
Die Bodenschätze, denen die stürmische Entwicklung der modernen Menschheit zu verdanken ist, bildeten sich in der Kreidezeit des Mesozoikums. Diese Periode begann vor 145–146 Mio. Jahren und endete vor 65 Mio. Jahren. Global gesehen ist das gar nicht so viel, weil die Erde nach den aktuellen wissenschaftlichen Informationen gegen 4,5–4,6 Mrd. Jahre alt ist.
Das Erdölbegleitgas (APG) ist ein im Erdöl gelöstes Gas. Das Erdölbegleitgas wird bei der Erdölförderung gewonnen, d.h. es ist im Grunde genommen ein Begleitprodukt. Aber das APG an sich ist auch ein wertvoller Rohstoff für die Weiterverarbeitung.
Wie wird aus Erdgas Helium gewonnen
Helium — ist ein farb-, geschmack- und geruchloses Gas. Dieser Stoff wird dank seiner einzigartigen Eigenschaften auf verschiedenen Gebieten der Wissenschaft und Technik breit verwendet.
Was sind verflüssigte Kohlenwasserstoffgase
Die verflüssigten Kohlenwasserstoffgase (LHCGs) werden aus Erdölbegleitgas gewonnen. Das sind reine Gase oder spezielle Gemische, die für die Heizung der Häuser, als Fahrzeugbrennstoff und für die Erzeugung erdölchemischer Produkte verwendet werden können.
Wie Gas gefahrlos zu gewinnen ist
Der Zustand von Gaspipelines wird ständig kontrolliert. Den Menschen helfen dabei die High-Tech-«Pigs», die durch die Rohre in schwer zugänglichen Bereichen kriechen.

Jedes Produkt muss irgendwie gespeichert werden. Gas ist keine Ausnahme. Die Untertagespeicherungsindustrie hat schon eine fast hundertjährige Geschichte.
Besonderheiten der Seegewinnung
Die Erdgasvorkommen befinden sich nicht nur auf dem Festland. Es gibt auch Seevorkommen — Erdöl und Gas kommen manchmal auch im mit Wasser bedeckten Inneren vor.
Erdgas strömt aus dem Bohrloch mittels natürlicher Energie. Die Erdgasförderung wird in Amerika, Europa, Afrika und in anderen Regionen betrieben. Ein Fünftel der weltweiten Gesamtausbeute fällt auf Gazprom.
Wie kann Erdgas aus Kohlelagerstätten gewonnen werden
Erdgas kann nicht aus allen Typen von Lagerstätten gewonnen werden; besonders aussichtsreich für ihre Gewinnung sind Kohlen, die eine Zwischenlage zwischen Braunkohle und Anthrazitkohle bilden. An solcher Kohle reich ist z.B. Kusbass.
Wie werden die Unterwasser-Gaspipelines gebaut
Ein Meer kann bis zu einigen Kilometern tief sein. Es ist eine schwierige Aufgabe, die Rohre am Boden zu verlegen. Am Boden der Nordsee verlaufen jedoch 6000 km Rohrleitungen, und einige davon sind schon 40 Jahre alt.
